Late 2019 it was announced on a Nintendo Direct that Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast was being ported to modern consoles, which might’ve been the most left-field announcement to come from one of these tightly crafted presentations. Unlike Outcast, Jedi Academy allows you to completely customize your character's appearance. Battlefront 2 has been fixed after the industry-wide controversy it caused at launch, Jedi Fallen Order proved to EA that there is still a place for single-player narrative-based titles that have no microtransactions, but on top of that, fans have been treated to something a little extra. If you’re a Star Wars fan, you may like it.
The game’s single player storyline is sort of interesting. Jedi Academy does have single player and online multiplayer. Jedi Academy is by no means the worse game on the Nintendo Switch but its not a great one either. Great game obviously uses the assets from Jedi Outcast, but provides the exact upgrades needed to create an enjoyable new play experience.
The series has taken quite a jump from its early roots of Dark Forces to Jedi Academy. Even its gameplay is very stiff and awkward. Star Wars games are now in a healthy place.
